I’m looking for options to prevent weeds from growing around a few lilac bushes that I just pruned and opened up after a few years of neglect.
They are in a somewhat shaded area at the apex of a gentle slope.
I’ve considered
- Mulch
- Roundup Extended Control
- Gravel
- Archangel or some other flowering ground cover
- Landscaping fabric
What would you recommend? Are there any options I’m missing? Thanks!
