So, I live in Round Rock, TX which is in central Texas, just north of Austin. I have (had?) a pretty nice St Augustine yard but have been fighting Nutsedge due to a neighbor that doesn’t care what grows in his yard as long as it’s green.
Anyways, I bought some Ortho Nutsedge Killer and applied it per the directions and now my St Augustine is sickly yellow and wilting in most places.
An online customer service rep from Ortho suggested watering it for 30 minutes every other day for 3 weeks. We did have some rain this evening, fortunately.
Does anyone have any experience with this? The product stated it was for St Augustine yards and I’m pretty upset and hoping for some reassurance that I didn’t just kill my yard, or advice on what to do next.
