Is this shrub worth keeping?
We just moved in to a house and inherited this very large evergreen shrub. I’m not in love with it, but don’t know how to remove it.
It has three large dead patches on the north, west, and east sides. I cut away a dead patch on one end (see photo), but now it looks very sparse there. Any suggestions? Should I keep working on it? Will it grow back quickly? If not, how do I remove it?
We live in upstate New York - Zone 6.
